Wasp & Hornet Treatment Guide

Before the Technician Arrives:

• Ensure Access: Please ensure the technician has easy access to the required areas. If the nest is in a shed or garage, do not open the door yourself; just have the keys ready. If the nest is in the loft, do not open the hatch.
• Stay Safe: Avoid the nest area. Our technicians are equipped with the necessary protective gear and insecticides to handle it safely. Please keep clear of the area.

Do You Need to Be Present During Treatment?

Yes, your presence may be required, especially if our technicians need to access areas inside your home. If the nest is in a detached area like a garden or shed, it might not be necessary for you to stay close, but always maintain a safe distance from the treatment area.

The Treatment Process:

• Insecticides Used: We use professional-grade insecticides, including:
  • Digrain Perbio Choc RTU: Contains 0.64% Permethrin and 0.63% Tetramethrin.
  • Vulcan P5DP: Contains 0.5% Permethrin for long-lasting protection.
  • Deadline Pydust Pro: Contains 0.11% Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium extract and 0.495% Piperonyl Butoxide.
• We apply these directly to the nest for maximum effectiveness.

After Treatment:

• Increased Activity: Expect heightened wasp or hornet activity for a few hours post-treatment. It will decrease over the next 21 days as the remaining larvae hatch.
• Avoid the Area: Wasps may become more aggressive after treatment. Stay away from the treated nest to reduce the risk of stings.

Nest Removal:

• When to Remove the Nest: The nest can be removed once all activity has stopped. We offer nest removal for an additional fee. Do not attempt to remove the nest yourself.

Our Guarantee:

We guarantee all treatments for the entire season (July–October). If activity continues 21 days after treatment, please contact us and we will re-treat at no extra charge.
